Caleb sure has a lot to say!
He is getting so strong and if you just hold his hips he can stand up on his own!
His sleeping lately is all over the map. He's waking every 2 or so hours at night, and not napping very well during the day. There is so much change going on in his little brain right now as he's getting smarter! Today we were able to take a two hour nap together, which was very much needed for me! The wonderful thing is that he is just as happy as can be! Always talking and laughing and smiling. We couldn't be happier! As i'm writing this, he's just sitting contently on my lap watching the screen!
Matthew is working a lot lately in the maintenance shop and flying at Corporate Air Center and also doing some side jobs as well to earn extra money to put towards our student loans. He's teaching flight lessons and also making shelves for a friends' company Old Door. http://www.olddoorco.com/ let us know if you are interested in ordering a shelf! He loves being a Da Da and is working relentlessly to have "DaDa" be Caleb's first word! It's such a joy to see Matthew's confidence as a father increasing and the their relationship flourish! i just talked to him and he flew into Seattle in a snow storm with very low visibility and had to "follow the coast line in to land." What a life he leads, all while Caleb and i are safe at home!
I put Caleb into the nursery for the first time with "strangers" at BSF (bible study fellowship) a few weeks ago and he did great!the ladies said they had missed im the week before when i decided to keep him and when i left they were debating over who would hold him. he was cooing and smiling at them and it made me feel very good! i didnt know how hard it would be to leave him! but i think i'll do it again.
